My Palmtastic Jumpsuit

Jumpsuit - Topshop | Bag - New Look | Sandals - Mango

Hey Guys!

I need to firstly apologise for the lack of posts lately I've been caught up with work, photoshoots and preparing for Creamfields I just haven't had any time to think about taking photos for a blog post! It also hasn't been the weather with the torrential rain we've been having lately!

Apologies aside lets crack on with this little beauty! I have only ever worn one jumpsuit, which I got sent from the lovely Ivy Online, and I've always been worried about whether I would suit the style of them because I'm quite short so I thought they wouldn't sit right on me. However the day I was going on holiday I was walking past Topshop and I seen a girl wearing this laaarvly palm print jumpsuit, I instantly took the risk about bought it! Crazy I know...

What I love about it is that its the perfect style for my height and would also suit taller people too, the elastic part around the waist doesn't really stretch much when I'm getting it on and off, making it a little tight, so I couldn't be desperate for the toilet! I think the print is really eye catching and even though Summer is coming to an end I will still be keeping it in my wardrobe to pull out on the sunny days along with some black pointed flats and my leather jacket!

I styled this jumpsuit with my black tassel clutch bag and lace up sandals for a nice 70's finish!

Unfortunately I couldn't find the exact jumpsuit but there are loads of similar styles on the Topshop website which I have linked above!

  • I've managed to borrow a rucksack from my cousin but you can get a cheap one form Sports Direct
  • For when we want a communal sit outside we've got some camping chairs, with a cup holder, from B&M bargains 2 for £9! BARGAIN!

Farfetch - Saint Laurent Wishlist

Hey Guys!

I was contacted a couple of weeks ago by the lovely Farfetch and asked to take part in a blogger competition, in celebration of the opening of Yevs Saint Laurent: Style Is Eternal exhibition, to style a complete YSL look that can be worn for the rest of eternity using the ever so smart 'iconic' smoking jacket as the key piece and this is my outcome!

Yes I understand that its dark, but black is such a classic colour that looks very smart and is definitely worn every season because, lets face it, Summer definitely does not always mean sun... not this year anyway! I think I've used a lot of lovely textures such as the 'classic sheer blouse', that could be layered on top of a bright cami top, paired with the 'skinny leather trousers' to really show off your shape! For a little bit of height I've matched the outfit with the most beautiful 'paris pumps' which is a very classic shoe that can be worn again and again no matter what the occasion!

I finished off the outfit with the iconic 'small 'Sac de Jour' tote' in bright red of course for an amazing pop of transitional colour, the gold 'monogram bracelet' and for a hint of quirkiness the 'lipstick pendant necklace'.

So please let me know what you think of this outfit! Would you wear it?
All of the items are linked on this page and if you would like to visit the exhibition you can book tickets here!

Wish me luck!

For the love of shirt dresses

Dress - Warehouse | Bag - New Look | Sandals - Mango
[all found in-store]

Hey Guys!

Just another outfit post from my holiday which seems like a distant memory now but I just had to show you all THE ultimate shirt dress which went down a treat in Turkey! So... the shirt dresses are back and have absolutely killed it this Summer with lots of different shapes, styles and colours AND it looks like they're staying another season as I have my eye on a rustic beauty, which is shown below, for autumn!

However winding back to when I was doing my holiday shopping this wonderful orange glow was beckoning me into the Warehouse department of House Of Fraser - I had been looking for something orange so enhance my tan - and I also needed something light weight, airy and dressy... this ticked all the boxes! Combined with a little black waist belt, my chic lace up sandals and 70's tassel clutch bag my outfit was complete!

After wearing this during the evening, and managing not to spill anything down it, I decided to wear it as a cover up during the day a couple of times which was handy for when you had to go to the restaurants, as you had to be covered. I love how the dress can be dresses up or down, with or without a belt and still look amazing! Unfortunately I can't find a link to the exact colour but there is a link to the khaki one - which is more suitable for autumn anyway!

Check out the rustic dress I'm absolutely loving right now and let me know what you think! Do I? Don't I?

The asymmetric skirt

Bralet - Topshop | Skirt - Missguided | Sandals - Mango | Bag - New Look | Rings - Primark

Hey guys!

I know its a little delayed but I'm finally getting round to posting a little lookbook from my holiday starting with this outfit I wore, not only for holiday but for one of the girls birthdays before hand! I loved it so much I couldn't not wear it again... especially because I didn't have any photos of me wearing it ha!

I was a little pessimistic when it came to purchasing the skirt because I didn't know it would look a little silly being so asymmetric but once it was on I fell in love, it really enhanced my shape and for only £10 it would be silly of me not to! Styling it with a crop top was definitely a winner because the skirt is quite a thin jersey material so if you tucked a top in and pulled it over you can see the material ruffled in the skirt - not a good look!

I also bought these beautiful lace up sandals from Mango before I went on holiday and I think they finished off the outfit perfectly! They didn't come up too high and were really comfy, I just wish we had the weather in Britain to wear them!

Jelly Love

Hey guys!

I hope you've all caught up on my review about my latest holiday to Turkey because I would now like to set the scene a little more by sharing with you all my favourite outfits of the holiday, starting with an appreciation post dedicated to the best shoes ever - my Juju jelly sandals - which may I add were unfortunately lost at sea on the last day, its a touchy subject and I am still gutted to this day that they didn't make it back home.

Anyway! I was feeling a little bit reluctant to buy these because lets face it when they're on the stand in the shop they don't look the prettiest shoe - in fact they look quite uncomfortable too, like they would cause a blister, but I decided I would buy a white pair anyway as they were only £10 from Office Shoes.

I wore them on the first day round the pool, and I was actually quite surprised with how good they looked with my blue bikini and white kaftan, from then onwards I wore them everyday, I was even tempted to wear them on the night - I didn't though. They were so comfy and true to fit they definitely reminded me of the ones I wore when I was younger. The best thing was that because they're obviously a plastic material and waterproof you could wear them in the sea so you weren't having to stand barefoot on the slime rocks and you didn't have to scald your feet on the hot sand running back and forwards to your sun lounger.

I really wanted to stress how amazing these shoes were, especially for such a brilliant price and even if they're a little clumpy looking! They come in an array of colours including some gorgeous silver sparkly ones! Keep an eye out for my holiday outfits coming up but in the meantime I will leave you with this tip and the link to the sandals below!

If you are wanting to wear JuJu Jelly Sandals in the sea wear them extra tight...

Hey Guys!

I've just got back from Turkey, where I stayed, for the second time, at the Sentido Lykia Resort & Spa in Olu Deniz, I thought I would share my review with you all as it is definitely somewhere that needs to be on your bucket list if your looking for a super relaxing holiday!

Personally I do not have any negative opinions of this hotel and I'm not going to bore you with all the little details or a break down of my daily routine as it literally involved me eating, sleeping and sunbathing! I will run through the best features that we found of the hotel that I hope will entice you to go there and have the best holiday ever!

---

The hotel is in an amazing secluded location with security guards at the entrance. It also has its own taxi service which offers many transfers including a return trip to Olu Deniz for 40 Lira (£10).

---

There are plenty of pools, at least 4 in the 16+ hotel, none of them are overflowing and there is plenty of sun loungers. The hotel also has its own private beach with a beautiful turquoise sea which is at a perfect temperature.

---

The room's are a very generous size, we got a double room with an inland view but you still had an amazing view. The mini bar was free to use and stocked daily with water, fruit juices and fizzy drinks.

---

There was fridges location around the hotel stocked with bottles of water for you to take as you please.

---

Workers come round with cold towels to cool you down on the hotter days and Sam even got a free massage!

---

On the 16+ side of the hotel it was very peaceful during the day with great entertainment on the evenings. On the Thursday we headed over to the sister hotel (Liberty Hotel Lykia) for the Lykia Mania event which was an outdoor disco featuring all the latest music and great entertainment such as fire dancing.

---

The sister hotel had a small market area which contained a mini supermarket, leather handbag shop, watch shop, sunglasses and trainers shop and many more.

---

There was two restaurants, one in each hotel, we preferred the one at the 16+ hotel as it was much quieter and the food was very sophisticated and just tasted out of this world. There was just so much to choose from!

---

There was plenty of bars which was open from early morning until 2am the next day serving numerous cocktails and other alcoholic drinks.

---

Finally there was always something you could be doing whether you wanted to just chill by the sea/pool or you could go a bit crazy and go on the jet skis, banana boats or any other water sports that the hotel provided. Also if your a daring adrenaline junkie, which I was not, you could do paragliding which was setup by the hotel staff also.

---

I can honestly say that I had the best holiday ever and it was this hotel that made it that way, I've been before and I would go back time and time again! If you've been to this hotel let me know what you thought and if your going please let me know if this was helpful and if you would like to know anymore!

Below is a link to the hotel on the Trip Advisor website and I hope I see you there next year!
