Jelly Love

Hey guys!

I hope you've all caught up on my review about my latest holiday to Turkey because I would now like to set the scene a little more by sharing with you all my favourite outfits of the holiday, starting with an appreciation post dedicated to the best shoes ever - my Juju jelly sandals - which may I add were unfortunately lost at sea on the last day, its a touchy subject and I am still gutted to this day that they didn't make it back home.

Anyway! I was feeling a little bit reluctant to buy these because lets face it when they're on the stand in the shop they don't look the prettiest shoe - in fact they look quite uncomfortable too, like they would cause a blister, but I decided I would buy a white pair anyway as they were only £10 from Office Shoes.

I wore them on the first day round the pool, and I was actually quite surprised with how good they looked with my blue bikini and white kaftan, from then onwards I wore them everyday, I was even tempted to wear them on the night - I didn't though. They were so comfy and true to fit they definitely reminded me of the ones I wore when I was younger. The best thing was that because they're obviously a plastic material and waterproof you could wear them in the sea so you weren't having to stand barefoot on the slime rocks and you didn't have to scald your feet on the hot sand running back and forwards to your sun lounger.

I really wanted to stress how amazing these shoes were, especially for such a brilliant price and even if they're a little clumpy looking! They come in an array of colours including some gorgeous silver sparkly ones! Keep an eye out for my holiday outfits coming up but in the meantime I will leave you with this tip and the link to the sandals below!

If you are wanting to wear JuJu Jelly Sandals in the sea wear them extra tight...

70's Style

Top - New Look | Skirt - Miss Selfridge | Bag - Primark | Sandals - New Look

Hey Guys!

I'm feeling a total 70's vibe from this outfit and it was completely unintentional but that must mean that I'm subliminally loving the 70's trend at the moment! Tassels, denim, lace, suede and Boho patterns are a definite winner for me this season however the colours are very Autumnal rather than Summery...

My problem lately is that I can't find any nice tops... I'm probably just being too picky but I need to love something before I buy it and I just haven't been feeling that recently! I did find this lace up shell top from New Look online, which comes in black and burgundy too. I think it looks great with this denim A-Line skirt and tassel bag for a great 70's style, I did mix it up a little by adding my white sandals from SS14 which have came back in stock in New Look!

This outfit was perfect for the humid weather today and if it got cooler then you could throw on a suede jacket for additional 70's flair!

Too late for turtle necks?

Top - River Island | Jeans - Miss Selfridge | Heels - New Look | Earrings - Select Fashion |

Are turtle necks completely out of fashion now because I'm still loving mine! So much so I've brought it out the back of my wardrobe to style up for the perfect day to night outfit - you know if afternoon cocktails decide to turn into a taxi home at 2am with a pizza? We've all been there!

It's never been warm enough to wear this grey sleeveless turtle neck and I figured since the weather was slightly humid it would be perfect to pair with some white jeans for a Summer look - although it doesn't exactly look like Summer outside I thought the grey reflected the type of weather we've been having!

I completed my look with my bargain £10 heels from New Look - which are a size too big but its nothing some insoles can't fix! My beautiful Michael Kors bag which gave the outfit a little bit of colour, my silver Fossil watch, Accessorise ring and a pair of triangle drop earrings sent from the amazing Touchstone Accessories! These earrings are perfect for any events or occasions such as weddings and proms, you can adjust the length of the earring by pulling the chair through your ear - which does feel odd but definitely not uncomfortable!

Ivy Pop-Up Shop

Hey Guys!

I hope everybody is loving this beautiful weather and getting nice and tanned! I haven't seen much of it unfortunately because I've been so busy recently however I did get sun burnt from my run the other day so hopefully that turns to some sort of brown colour ready for my holiday which I am soooo ready for!

This warm weather is a brilliant excuse for a new Summer wardrobe and at Ivy's Pop-Up event last Sunday they had the most perfect collection! I went down for a few hours to do some photography showcasing their new collection on their models and also to have a browse - obviously and I have picked out all my favourites to show you guys which you can find at www.ivy-online.co.uk

Photo's above taken with a Canon 1100D

To the event I wore:
Office Shoes

I was taking full advantage of the nice weather by getting my white jeans out and I've never worn white jeans before so I was so self conscious thinking 'oh what if I sit on something or spill something down me' - which is me all over! But thankfully I never! I loved styling them with my powder blue cami and grey pointed flats which gave it that Summery look - although I wish I brought a jacket!

Ivy will be hosting another pop-up shop event soon so I really hope to see all you locals there!

Paisly

Hey Guys!

I'm finally back in action! I've been so busy with work lately so I decided to take some time to plan some outfits and posts so I can be super organised! I've also been buying lots of new bits and bobs with all the extra hours I've been doing!

So here are some of my new buys... I've been searching high and low for a suede jacket for a while and I've eventually found this amazing one at Mango! The problem I found was that I didn't know what colour to get either light or dark brown but this one fit so well, the shape was perfect and it was only £59.99 so a price that I couldn't resist - especially for genuine leather!

I styled this jacket with my new shirt dress from Missguided! I never really shop there just because there is so much choice and I never know what to get but when I seen there was 30% off dresses I had to snatch it! This is a lovely print dress although it's not summery colours it's still something that can be worn no matter what season it is! It is a long sleeves dress but I've decided to roll the sleeves up so that it doesn't look too severe. I absolutely love this dress however my only issue is that it is a little short hence why I'm wearing it with black tights, but on holiday I wouldn't be wearing tights with it, I may also wear it with some shorts just to cover me up incase the wind decides to pick up! I have used my own belt with this just around the waist to give it a bit of shape and I think it finishes it off nicely!

I've finished the outfit off with some pointed toe tan suede flats from New Look and I'm so pleased that they almost match my jacket! I LOVE matching colours!

This outfit would be great for a Saturday shop in the city centre and would look great with a tassel bag and floppy hat!

Keep an eye out for my next post featuring the Ivy pop-up shop this Sunday at Hell Below & Co, Devonshire Street, Carlisle!
