Good Evening! I hope everybody has had a loveeeely Christmas and is totally stuffed from their dinner! I've been waiting all day to share with you my Christmas Day outfit! I've been wanting to start wearing skirts more often, as I'm more of a jeans or leggings person, but 2015 is definitely a new chapter for skirts and dresses!
Starting from the top I'm wearing a River Island knitted vest. I really love this because although its in a vest/tank top style the fact its like a knitted material makes it more wintery. I also really like the silver beaded collar that has a mixture of gems and silver beads for a nice collar effect. What's handy is that you don't need to wear a necklace! I originally bought this top for my works Christmas party but I thought that I would wear it for Christmas Day too as it does look quite festive.
As you can see I'm wearing a skirt! For once! I definitely wanted to wear this for Christmas day because its my favourite skirt that I got! I've seen it on lots of other peoples blogs so I thought I would join the bandwagon! I got this little beauty from New Look, it comes in 4 different colours and I thought it would be a good idea to get this because although it is a thick fabric it would be good to wear in the Spring too, cause lets face it it's not that warm in Spring! I'm planning on wearing it with a nice baby blue top or pastel colours. I wasn't sure whether the top and skirt would work together but I definitely think they do! I wore my black chunky heeled boots from Office to finish off this outfit and it really did the trick!

Because on Christmas Day we don't stay in the house all day we go out and visit the family I thought I would share with you my new River Island leather jacket that Sam got me! I'm actually in love with it and that fact that its real leather! Its definitely a wardrobe essential for any season meaning that it will last forever! I really like it because its nice and fitted everywhere, not too tight on my shoulders or back which I tend to struggle with! Its got great pockets that actually fit my iPhone 6! Which is definitely a massive bonus because not many leathers have big enough pockets for that!
