Hey guys!
How cold is it outside! Seriously I couldn't even take my blogging photos without getting a red nose, hence why I've done them inside - AGAIN! I hope everyone is keeping warm, the ice/snow in my area hasn't even fully disappeared yet its that cold!
I've been so looking forward to sharing with you this outfit, I've been trying to put it off for a while so I wasn't posting too much about camel colours, as thats all I seemed to talk about a couple of weeks back!
This is my Camel Chic outfit, I've layered myself up with a thermal vest to keep warm and it did work! I wasn't sure if I looked too teacher/school girl in this outfit but as the day went on it did begin to grow on me, I thought it looked nice and sophisticated with a hint of warmth form my lovely warm H&M jumper. It is a tight knit jumper so it does keep you quite warm, I decided to roll the sleeves up a bit so that it didn't look too clean cut and make it a little more casual.
I used one of those cool River Island bibs underneath the jumper instead of a shirt, because I sometimes feel when your wearing a shirt under a jumper (especially this one as its a tight material) it can make you look bigger and it never sits nice either! I actually thought of this 'bib' idea ages ago and thought 'aww that would be a great idea!' then I seen it on River Island website! Great minds think alike I guess, ha!
I did worry about whether I would get away with wearing my camel coat with the jumper as they are a similar colour but I do think they contrast each other quite well and don't clash - thank god! An alternative would be just to wear a nice black leather jacket or a black/taupe belted wrap coat would look beautiful and super smart!
This coat also comes in light grey and white. The white one would look gorgeous for spring!
I can't believe I haven't shown you my amazing boots, which I actually got for Christmas! I've just been struggling to find things to wear them with that aren't camel/brown since I've been trying to stay away from that colour so I don't get sick of it. But I do love them they're so comfy, warm and affordable! They do have a little extra room in so I can wear two pairs of socks if it is really chilly outside!
