What to wear on the plane

As we are definitely into holiday season now I would like to share with you some information about plane journeys and what to wear as it can be the biggest pain! On the way there and back I decided to wear midi dresses as I thought it would keep me cool when I arrive/leave the hot country and its just right for our current weather at home. Apart from I forgot the most important fact - the plane journey itself!
I flew with Thomas Cook and they had the air con on full blast and I was looking round the plane and see a lot of people covering themselves with their jackets/cardigans to keep warm - I was the same. As stylish as it was my outfit just didn't work for the plane journey.
I would definitely suggest a nice body con maxi skirt with a vest top for when your travelling to and from the airport however also take a light weight cardigan, that will fit nicely into your hand luggage not taking too much room, for you to throw on while your on the plane. I've seen a few in stores such as; Topshop and Urban Outfitters - a neutral colour is always a good choice as it will go with anything.
You could weather either a maxi skirt or dress - whichever you prefer - but by wearing a body con style your able to store warm air while on the plane! I actually do find body con clothing quite comfortable in comparison to a loose maxi skirt/dress as sometimes you end up standing on it or sitting on it then you pull it and it can just be a hassle.

But my main advice is take a cool light weight cardigan that can be stored in your hand luggage.

See my photo for my outfit I wore on the plane - perfect for a few cocktails, day dress or dinner dress!
