Bumbags

When I was going to Zante last year with the girls I was wanting a bum bag - as everybody does when going on holiday or to festivals. Because they were in such high demand everywhere I went was completely sold out or only had black ones with studs - which isn't my style. None of my friends had bum bags either and since we were leaving it too late we didn't want to risk ordering online and it not getting here on time so we needed another idea.

There was no way I was going to take a handbag and risk money getting stolen, or put it in my pocket, so we went to Asda and found a 'money belt'. The money belt is a thin, skin colour 'bum bag style' belt that sits underneath your clothing so that it can't be seen. With the one I got there was two zip compartments so me and my friend shared the money belt. The belt part was just a big peice of skin colour elastic which is adjustable and very comfortable to wear.

I can definitely say this was waaay better than a bum bag as I can be quite conscious about my things - especially money - in crouded places so this definitely put my mind at rest knowing that nobody knew it was there and it wasn't able to be seen in comparison to the bum bags.

It's perfect for holidays and festivals especially to keep money and phones safe. I also used it when I visited the Turkish markets as I thought they might have been a bit crowded and I didn't want to be hanging onto a handbag in a busy area. 

I would definitely recommend money belts to anyone I know they're not an amazing fashion statement but in this situation all I want to do it keep my belongings safe. I'm not sure whether you can buy them at Asda anymore but I couldn't see them on the website however they might be sold instore. Otherwise I would suggest to buy them off ebay they're between £3-£6 so much cheaper than bum bags too! More money to spend on your holiday!!
